Solution
We designed and built a single-storey rear extension with a warm flat roof and central glazed lantern.
A steel goalpost frame formed a wide opening for aluminium bi-fold doors and a large picture window, with high-performance cavity insulation and airtight detailing used throughout.
Key works included excavation and strip foundations, a beam-and-block floor with insulated screed, structural steels for a full-width opening, silicone-rendered external walls and a full internal refit to the rear rooms, including new electrics, plaster, joinery and decoration.
